Shikshakendra

A vision of imparting education to all the sections of society, became the mission of Jagran Social Welfare Society and DPS Gurudev Shiksha Kendra, Bhopal, came into existence to realize the dreams of the under privileged sections. The idea of quality education, exploring the inherent potential, getting opportunities to polish the talents and studying in a renowned school, took concrete shape in the portals of DPS Gurudev Shiksha Kendra.

The world class infrastructure provides a platform to learn, explore and experiment. Thus, helping the less fortunate children of our society to evolve into responsible, confident and self reliant individuals who can prove to be assets to the nation.

FACILITIES

• The children of DPS GurudevShiksha Kendra are provided with Free transport, uniform and books.
• The same infrastructure; i.e. same classrooms, same furniture, lush green play areas, same music, dance and art rooms as the students of the morning shift.
• Access to computer and audio-visual aids
• A nominal fee of Rs. 25/- per month is charged to develop a sense of pride and responsibility among these less fortunate children

Presently 260 such students are studying in DPS Gurudev Shiksha Kendra, Bhopal
