Vocal Music-
P Bhavini of Class VI-C won the title of mummy ke superstarz competition at all India level which was organized by Star Plus channel and won a cash prize of Rs.10,00,000/- (Ten Lakh Rupees) in June 09.
Inter DPS Vocal Music Competition which was scheduled at DPS Durg was cancelled at the last moment because of swine flu.

P. Bhavini of class VI C was awarded with the title of Mummy ke Superstarz (Star Plus Channel) and won the cash prize of Rs.10,00,000/-(Ten lakh Rupees Only)
2 Road shows hosted by DPS Bhopal at Boat Club and New Market Bhopal.
A group of 50 students were taken to Doordarshan Bhopal to present a variety programme of Dance and Orchestra.
A group of 10 students presented a dance item and a Sufi Song in Doordarshan's golden jubilee function on 14th November 2009.
In the National Vocal Music Competition, our Chairperson Shri Ashok Chandra ji appreciated our song and gave his views that he is listening such a melodious song after a long time.
n the same Competition, P. Bhavini of Class VI C was appreciated by one and all present there, and specially by Mr. Ashok Chandra.
Akshay Dwivedi of Class VIII A anchored the whole children's programme in Doordarshan's Golden Jubilee function on 14th November 2009 and he is getting a National Scholarship for music also.
