Picture Club Description Scholars' Club Keeping in mind that individuals are unique, the School caters to the needs of the 'Gifted Children" and trains them to clear prestigious NTSE, SCIENCE and MATHEMATICS OLYMPIADS.Teachers design special assignments, conduct special ability classes and train them for interviews. Challengers' Club Keeping in mind the maxim - 'the sky is the limit', the Challenger's Club endeavours to take challenges in training the gifted students to clear prestigious examinations and Olympiads. Personality Development As a regular part of the curriculum, Personality Development Classes are held to further refine the child's all round growth.The course includes behaviour, etiquettes, stress management, time management, leadership qualities, communication skills, public speaking etc. Community Service To bridge the gap between the 'Haves' and 'Have-nots', pupils are encouraged to participate in community development activities as worthy members of society.The students plan the activities for the year and raise funds for their projects.Charity is an important virtue taught to them through these activities.Over the years they have made valuable contribution towards, Helpage India, students coming from Suraj Nagar (neighbouring) slum area, orphanages and have interacted with prisoners in jails to make them feel a part of the mainstream. Environmental Club Being caretakers of the environment for the future generation, the Environmental Club performs various activities to create awareness and sensitize the students on environmental issues.Road shows, Anti polythene, Anti pollution drives and planting of saplings are regular annual features of the club. Cyber Club Computer enthusiasts join this club and update themselves with the latest news of the computer world.They also hold discussions on the pros and cons of computer related fields. Eg: the Internet.The club also organizes and trains pupils for In-School and Inter School Computer Quiz. Equestrian Club A lush green paddock and well bred horses are a treat to the horse riders.Specialized training in horse riding is provided in the activity period and after- school hours.The riders develop leadership qualities.They learn to command their horses and also participate in 'jumping show' during Annual Day.The horse riders also add to the glory of the School parade. Dance A new wing under the Music & Dance Department.A specialized teacher teaches the various dance forms of Europe.Pupils learn the regular Break Dance together with Salsa, Hip-Hop, Popping and Locking as well traditional styles. Aerobics Club The club has a large following of children who enjoy basic exercising to the tunes of western music.Students 'sweat it out' as they perform exercises rhythmically to popular tunes, guided by their teacher. The Audio-Visual Club The student members of this club, under the guidance of the Teacher-In - Charge, organize Paper Presentation by teachers/ pupils, conduct Seminars by Teacher/ Pupil and also arrange for Guest lectures. General Knowledge Club The young and the curious form this club and spend time in the library reading and delving into oceans of knowledge.They form the Quiz team of the School. They also coach the students of Gurudev Shiksha Kendra and help them improve their GK. S.U.P.W. Term wise each class takes up a S.U.P.W.project.This includes traditional folk arts like 'Mandana', 'Bidari work', and also Kite-making, candle making and painting glassware. Dramatics Club The club has two wings the Hindi Club and the English Club.Young theatre enthusiasts learn how to script, direct and enact plays.They participate in understanding stage decor, use of props, costume designing, background music and are also taught stage presence.They find expression in, In-House School functions and in Intra Class Dramatics Competitions Fine Arts Club The club caters to budding artists.The club guides them through pencil sketches, still life paintings, figurative drawings and paintings.Guided by teachers the members put up commendable exhibitions and have to their credit,acclaim at both State and National level competitions. Language Lab A well equipped language lab caters to the enhancement of language learning.Pupils are taught correct pronunciations, intonation, use of punctuations, reading with expression and conversation.Public speaking in these classes helps the students overcome fear and develop confidence.A graded syllabus with interactive worksheets is prepared for the purpose. Robotics Club The latest club introduced, where creative intelligent minds work to produce robots, or man made machines who work just like humans but with better precision and without endangering the lives of the humans.The club was introduced for the pupils to get an insight into the work culture of the future.
