A dream project in reaching out to under-privileged children in the neighbourhood . These children are not given charity, but oppurtunities of inclusion of sharing a sense of pride by being on the same plateform of learinig with other children. This challenge of inclusion bringing people together like never before by enabling needy children to partake of the quality education of DPS Schools.

Provide equal oppurtunities and bridge the gap of disparities between the privilaged morning 'sunrise' children and the afternoon underprivilaged 'sunshine' childrens.

• To impart  broad based education almost free of cost to the disadvantaged neighbourhood children.
• To provide the same infrastructure, academic and administrative support to the underprivileged children as are available to privilaged ones.
• To provide a curriculum that leads to holistic development for the growth of future citizen.
• To provide equal opportunities and common plateform for cultural and sports activities.
• To provide vocational training for self reliance.
• To play positive role in emancipation of the girl child.
• Finally to absorb outstanding performance to the main school. 

The children of DPS Gurudev Shiksha Kendra will be provided with  Free transport, uniform and books  The same infrastructure as the privileged children of the morning shift i.e.
- Same classrooms
- Same furniture
- Lush green area
- Same music, dance and art room
- Access to Computer and Audio visual aids and quality education almost free of cost.

A nominal fee of Rs. 25/- per month will be charged to develop sense of pride and responsibility among the underprivileged section towards education.

DPS Gurudev Shiksha Kendra take this mission as a moral and social responsibility to uplift the marginalized children.
