An eminent personality in the field of education, Mr. Ashok Chandra is known for his prolific decisions and constructive reforms as Chairman of DPS Schools' Society. A postgraduate in Mathematics from the University of Allahabad, Mr. Ashok Chandra joined the Indian Administrative Services in 1959. He served in various capacities in the state of Uttar Pradesh namely, as Secretary in The Department of Industries and as Chairman of the State Jal Nigam. He has also served as Additional Secretary in the Department of Company Affairs.

Mr. Ashok Chandra served the Government of India as Secretary in the Ministry of Food Processing Industry, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Information and Broadcasting and the Department of Heavy Industry.

He was Advisor to the Governor of Uttar Pradesh, India and also Advisor to the Government of Afghanistan. At present he is also the Trustee of Sir Ganga Ram Trust Society which runs the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi.

Keenly interested in the well being of all schools under the aegis of the DPS Society, he finds the time in his busy schedule to attend each function. Under his chairmanship, the Delhi Public Schools are scaling new heights in both academic and non-academic spheres.

Dr. (Mrs.) Sharada Nayak is a renowned educationist and is presently the Director of the most prestigious Educational Resources Centre Trust, New Delhi. Her immense experience and creativity have currently engaged her in projects for training college faculty and students in diverse programmes, such as; gender issues, political awareness and citizenship for democracy.

Her work in the field of education has been widely acknowledged at the national and international level.

She was nominated for International Scholarship by the United Nations Students Association. She received the annual award of the Committee for Teaching Asians at the Association of Asian Studies for her outstanding contribution to Inter-cultural education. She was also awarded the Annual Service Award in 1991 by The Council of International Educational Exchange for her contribution to International education. In 2002, she received an Honorary Doctorate in Humane Letters by St. Lawrence University, Canton, New York for her contribution to Inter-cultural education.

A great visionary, she has held high profile posts in the field of Education. The posts of, Executive Director of the United States Education Foundation in India from 1981 to 1992, Chairperson of Lady Irwin College and Maitreyi College and Consultant, Connecticut, Minnesota, Washington and Wisconsin State Education Departments illumine her career graph.

Chairman of Jagran Social Welfare Society, Bhopal and Resident Editor of Dainik Jagran, the largest read Newspaper of India, Mr. Gupta epitomizes dynamism. With three decades of experience, he is a name to reckon with in the field of Journalism. As a leading journalist, he has traveled extensively to Germany, Paris, London, Rome, Zurich, Geneva, Singapore, Bangkok, South Africa and Ireland. He has done so with prominent politicians of India to represent the country. He has also represented the state of Madhya Pradesh with the Chief Minister of M.P. to promote the State for foreign investment.Blessed with in-born versatility, Mr. Gupta, a distinguished industrialist of Madhya Pradesh is an expert in non-ferrous Metal industry. He set up several industries in Bhopal, Rewa and Indore.

Following the footsteps of his illustrious father, Shri Gurudev Gupta, a freedom fighter and social activist, he transformed the vision his father saw into reality, when he brought 'Public School Culture' to Bhopal. In the year 2000, he set up Delhi Public School, Bhopal and in the year 2003, Delhi Public School, Indore. Belonging to a 'perfectionist cult', Mr. Gupta designed world class infrastructure and fashioned state of art facilities to make the schools the best educational institutes of Madhya Pradesh. The schools have been awarded 'Dream School' status by the Government of Madhya Pradesh.

Mr. Gupta realizing his responsibility to society, has given concrete shape and direction to his mission of empowering the 'Have-nots' by providing free education and transport to the underprivileged children, who study on the same campus in Schools named after his Late parents; Shri Gurudev Shiksha Kendra, Bhopal and Somvati Devi Shiksha Kendra, Indore. There are more than 400 children shaping their future.

A great visionary, he has signed the (MOU) Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Madhya Pradesh to set up a Higher Educational Park at Bhopal. He has under this set up, established an University of International Standard, J.I.C.M. and Leeds Met India wherein more than 25 Streams will be provided and will cater to about 10000 youth of Madhya Pradesh and India. He is committed to his task to bring the city of Bhopal on the educational map of the world.

Mr S.L. Dhawan has a long innings in the field of education. A true teacher, he has contributed immensely as the founder Principal of DPS Ranipur and DPS Noida. He visited USA as Leader of a Teachers Delegation in 1965. In 1970 he taught for a year in Roosevelt High School, Dayton, USA. He also studied American Culture and Education System in Antioch College (USA). He was Director Projects and Member Secretary at the DPS Society. His contribution to the DPS Society ,as a distinguished educationist and as an experienced veteran in the field of school education, is highly commendable. He was on the faculty of GOROONSTOUN (SCOTLAND) U.K. where he taught Prince Andrew in 1976.

He is dynamically involved with the Management of School and has accomplished many creditable landmarks. Under his able guidance and vast experience, the chain of Delhi Public Schools has grown in size and esteem.

A self motivated person, Mr. Rajiv Mohan Gupta has a Master's degree in Business Management. Currently he is the Editor of Dainik Jagran Bhopal, the largest read Hindi daily. An erudite personality , with vast exposure, Mr. Gupta is meticulous in his dealings, and is known for his apt decisions, motivation and spirit to target success. He has been a constant source of inspiration to DPS Bhopal.

Mr. Rakesh Mehra, is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India. He has worked with MPAVN & MPSIDC as Deputy Manager, Finance Assistant and as General Manager Project Finance. He took voluntary retirement from his services from MPAVN in 1986 and applied his creative acumen to promote M/S Econotech Services Ltd, a venture in Financial & Management Consultancy Services. He has been an active member of the DPS Bhopal Managing Committee and has rendered his guidance in the successful functioning of the School.

Mr. Sharma is a Science Post Graduate with B.Ed. and is having vast teaching experience. He is very good Administrator. He has traveled abroad on educational purpose and has 20 years of teaching experiences in various schools on various posts. Presently he is the Principal of DPS Bhopal.
